Mount Sacred Heart was honored to be featured on Great Day SA for a special segment highlighting our Legacy Room—a space that tells the story of faith, tradition, and generations of Eagles who have helped shape our community. In this three-minute feature, viewers are invited inside a place where history is preserved, gratitude is remembered, and our mission continues to unfold. From alumni memories to present-day students, the Legacy Room reflects what makes Mount Sacred Heart a home for learning, faith formation, and lifelong connection. We are grateful to KENS 5 for helping us share the heart of the MSH Community with the wider San Antonio family.

welcome back there is a Catholic School here in San Antonio that Prides itself on a faith-filled community strong core values and a commitment to helping students I stopped by Mount Sacred Heart and learn more I've made my way out to the Mount Sacred Heart Catholic school and I'm talking to Sean tall right now she's the admissions and advancement coordinator here how are you doing this morning I'm doing great it's a great day to be at Mount Sacred Heart this is a really great season for y'all with Christmas right around the corner for people who maybe are making those decisions for next year what makes this such a great School well our school is is steeped in history we have a wonderful Legacy here 95 years strong and we are committed to Growing Scholars with servant hearts and especially around the Christmas season it's an opportunity for us to gather as a community to instill those core values and to to um to display to display our faith in action this really sounds amazing and I understand you have a lot of programs to offer families at home as well we do um here at Mount Sacred Heart we are dedicated to uh the well-rounded student so in addition to our academic programs which includes our early childhood education and monetary for 3 to 5 year olds um we have the traditional Pre-K Pre-K 3 and 4 in kindergarten and we also have plenty of extracurricular activities so we do have a full complement of sports um winter winter and spring Sports so we finished up our football season volleyball we have cross-country there is basketball boys and girls basketball um baseball um softball and track and we also have our own CYO program which caters to our 3 year olds through fifth graders so all of our students are able to build that kind of community through through Athletics um in addition we also have we offer choir we offer chess we offer robot 6 um art and yearbook as well there really is just so much and speaking of well-rounded students I want to bring in Ariana right now she's an eighth grader here at Mount sacred how are you doing I'm good I'm so excited to talk to you I understand that you have a long Legacy here when it comes to your family can you just tell people at home a little bit about that yes so my sister came here whenever she was little and my brother another 2 years after came and then 2 years later I came and 4 years later my little brother came amazing and can you just tell me I understand we're in the Christmas season right now and there's so many of your values are tied into that can you please tell the families at home how important the values and and growing here is to you it's really important here amount because they teach us how to respect others through our values such as integ community service and compassion and we tie those in with activities and things we do thank you so much for giving us some insight into your growth here it really sounds like they have a lot for you here and then Chantel people at home if they want to find more information they want to look into the admission process what does that look like here do you do tours uh yes we offer tours um we offer tours daily so we offer tours by appointment um um they can contact me online through Mount sacredheart.org um I can also be reached via email um and I can set up an appointment to that's customized to your own family so that way you can see all of the programs that we have to offer and so that you can also Witness the difference in our students and in that that daily Community amazing I hope you all have a wonderful holiday thank you for all this information today thank you so much
